At the same time, according to experts, if all these ecologists were real, they would have a different priority – they would be more interested not in “point” objects, but in global ones: the state of drinking water, saving rivers, massive deforestation and removal of forests. high-quality and honest air monitoring. For example, no one even knows of cases when eco-activists were sued for burning leaves, which, together with transport, are the primary pollutants of the air we breathe.
“For Kiev and for such megalopolises, transport is the biggest polluter. And in the fall, it is the burning of garbage by the neighboring villages, and in Kiev, too, some people are burning leaves. If you look at the SaveEcoBot or Pollution platform, then in the fall we have a terrible picture,” explains professor and environmental expert Vladimir Bogolyubov.
