In Ukraine, after the launch of the presidential initiative to modernize apartment buildings, prices for apartments in such buildings will rise significantly.
This, as stated in the material UNIAN, said the head of the “First Municipal School of OSMD” Irina Golovatenko.

According to her, the condominiums expect officials to detail the presidential initiative and clarify the procedures for participating in energy efficiency programs.
“All condominiums are aware of warm loans and local co-financing programs, but most condominiums condemn the lack of transparency in procedures, dishonest tenders, bureaucracy and agreements. Therefore, condominiums have a lot of hopes for the president’s initiative, but there are enough fears,” she said. she.
The expert noted that apartments in modernized buildings are significantly increasing in price: “tuning” your home is an investment that will pay off in the future.
A significant problem, however, is the lack of sufficient information about the available options and the details of the programs.
The state also devotes little time to debunking myths about the work of citizens’ associations. Sometimes such myths are very strange, for example, people are intimidated by the non-existent prospect of losing their apartment for untimely “non-repayment of a warm loan” by condominiums.
“These prejudices impede the development of associations a lot,” she said.
“Big thermo-modernization” in Ukrainian, according to Golovatenko, will become a marker for improving the condition of apartment buildings and will increase the responsibility of citizens.
“Ukrainians need to be explained that according to housing and communal services laws, each apartment owner is responsible for the condition of the entire house, and that the state, by allocating funds for thermal modernization, only helps us, the owners, improve the houses, and does not take responsibility for itself,” Golovatenko added.
Improving energy efficiency:
The Energodom program offers two energy efficiency packages.
The “light” package provides for projects worth an average of 1.7 million hryvnia, of which 40 percent is compensated by the Fund. Mandatory points of such modernization are the installation of meters and an individual heating point in houses, as well as pipe insulation.
The “comprehensive” package, in addition to the obligatory measures from the “light” package, provides for complete insulation of buildings: thermal insulation of walls, roofs and basements. The average cost of such a complex package is ten million hryvnia.
NNEGC “Energoatom” plans to pass the heating season with 14 out of 15 nuclear power units connected.
The Ministry of Energy approved the forecast electricity balance for 2022, which provides for an increase in electricity production by 2.5%.
On December 1, 2021, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during his annual message in the parliamentary hall, announced that Ukraine in 2022 will begin a large-scale program “Great Thermal Modernization”, which will provide an opportunity to insure against further increases in energy prices.
