The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that they had received the proposal, but said that it was still being considered, and the format and timing needed to be clarified.
The last negotiations in this format took place in July 2019, and since then all attempts to set a date for the meeting have failed.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on December 17, the Russian Foreign Ministry published “draft agreements” on the actual distribution of spheres of influence in Europe, which Moscow wants to sign with the North Atlantic Alliance and the United States.
