The police recalled responsibility.
The patrol police of Ukraine on the eve of the New Year and Christmas holidays reminded drivers of the punishment that would threaten for drunk driving.
This is stated in the message on the page of the department in Facebook.
The Code of Ukraine On Administrative Offenses provides for the following types of punishment:
- according to h. 1 tbsp. 130 (Driving a vehicle by a person in a state of intoxication or refusal to undergo an examination for a state of intoxication) КУоАП – a fine of 17,000 hryvnias with deprivation of the right to drive for a year).
- for h. 2 tbsp. 130 (Repeated driving in a state of intoxication during a year) КУоАП – a fine of 34,000 hryvnias with deprivation of the right to drive for 3 years with or without a paid withdrawal of a vehicle, or administrativerest for 10 days with or without a paid withdrawal of a vehicle).
- under Part 3 of Art. 130 (Third and subsequent driving in a state of intoxication during the year) КУоАП – 51,000 hryvnias with deprivation of the right to drive for 10 years and confiscation of a vehicle or administrativerest for 15 days with deprivation of the right to drive for 10 years and confiscation of a vehicle).

- under Part 4 of Art. 130 (use by the person who drove the vehicle, after an accident with his participation, alcohol, narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, medications before an appropriate examination) KUoAP – 34,000 hryvnia or administrative arrest for fifteen days with deprivation of the right to drive for 3 years ).
“Celebrate responsibly. In no case do not drive in a state of intoxication, because the consequences can be fatal,” the law enforcement officers called on the drivers.
