The plaintiff believes that her egg was used without her knowledge.

The Novozavodsk District Court of Chernigov will consider the case on appeal against the motherhood of the oldest mother in Ukraine, Valentina Podverbnaya. As the plaintiff’s lawyer Sergei Volfovskiy told UNIAN, his client asks for a DNA examination of the girl Anna-Maria, whom Podverbnaya gave birth to in February 2011.
The plaintiff lived in Kharkov, now she lives in Israel.

“At the beginning of 2021, my client was reviewing the program about the child of the oldest mother in Ukraine and noticed a striking similarity between the girl and her daughter and other relatives. In addition, health problems were common, as mentioned in the program,” said Volfovsky.
Therefore, the woman suspected that her eggs, which she deposited, were used without her permission and without her knowledge at all.
“This lawsuit is about the appeal of motherhood. A DNA test must be carried out, which will confirm or deny the client’s suspicions. If it does, the court dispute will continue regarding the recognition of another woman as the mother of the child,” the lawyer said.
The meeting on the case is scheduled for January 12, but it is possible to postpone it.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on February 23, 2011 in the maternity hospital of Chernigov, 65-year-old Valentina Podverbnaya gave birth to a healthy baby girl. The child was born after an IVF procedure using donor biomaterials. The girl is now in school.
