New service from the network equipment provider TP-Link allows faster management and storage of records in the cloud. The Tapo Care solution is aimed at users with Tapo CCTV cameras that support intelligent home security features.
Tapo Care offers video storage in the cloud for 30 days, as well as features for motion detection, human recognition and baby crying, as well as configuring a privacy zone. The service allows users to optimize the use of smart cameras for home surveillance.
When the Tapo camera is turned on, the data captured by the device can be stored by Tapo Care without capacity limitations. Users can check all recorded videos from anywhere, regardless of the condition of the camera, as Tapo is a cloud storage service and at the same time ensures that privacy and data are completely protected.

Meanwhile, TP-Link has improved Tapo Care’s algorithm to support more powerful features such as recognizing people, identifying crying children or a privacy zone.
The function for recognizing people is an update of the traditional motion detection function implemented on many standard security cameras. In this way, users can accurately monitor people’s movements, and notifications will be sent to the smartphone only when needed.
With built – in function for recognition of baby crying the camera becomes a monitor for monitoring children, combining the functions of recognizing people and crying babies. When the child cries, users will immediately receive a notification to go and see what is happening.
Configure a privacy zone is another smart feature of the service. TP-Link encourages customers to restrict certain areas from which it is not desirable to store information to prevent activity from being recorded.

The Tapo Care service is available for a free trial for the first 30 days. Users must install and configure the camera, click on the Tapo Care banner in the app, confirm the terms and conditions and then use the service for 30 days for free.
Tapo Care can be tested in combination with products from the Tapo range. The available subscription plans start from BGN 7.11 per month and vary depending on the number of connected devices and the selected options.
