Educators do not receive money because there are no school leaders who have digital signatures or seals to form registries for payments.
In Ukraine, 10 thousand teachers cannot receive salaries due to the lack of heads of educational institutions that have digital signatures.
This was announced by the Minister of Education and Science Sergei Shkarlet in broadcast information telethon.
“Unfortunately, there are 48 territorial communities. This is about 10,000 teachers who have not received salaries for April today. This is because the Ministry of Education does not have direct management of each school, because they are handled by local authorities, or their founders “, – he said.
According to Shkarlet, educators do not receive funds because there are no school leaders who have digital signatures or seals to form registries for payments.
“We are trying to resolve this issue with the heads of military administrations,” the minister assured.
Teachers during the war:
In March 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a basis and in general the law on the ban on the dismissal of teachers during martial law (No. 7133) and the mandatory payment of salaries.
On May 27, Education Ombudsman Sergei Gorbachev announced that Ukrainian teachers were being forced to take vacations at their own expense.
