In the Sumy region, a woman was injured by a fragment of a Russian shell, who was working in the garden when the shelling began.
This was reported in Telegram Chairman of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmitry Zhivitsky.
He noted that during yesterday’s day, starting at nine in the morning, the invaders fired more than 270 mines, rockets and shells of various calibers across the territory of the Sumy region. According to him, under enemy fire were: Belopolskaya, Novoslobodskaya, Shalyginskaya, Esmanskaya, Velikopisarevskaya, Glukhovskaya and Krasnopolskaya communities.
“A 64-year-old woman was injured in the Shalygin community: she was just working in the garden when the shelling began. She was wounded by a fragment of a Russian shell,” Zhivitsky said.
According to him, there is also damaged infrastructure: houses of civilians, farms, power grids and a water tower. At the same time, he added that the exact number and nature of the destruction is being clarified.
Zhyvitsky showed a video showing a house of civilians in Belopolshchyna, which was destroyed by the enemies.
