This device is a modified version of the Orlan-10 main reconnaissance UAV of the occupiers and, above all, it has a higher operational height, which makes it possible to carry more payload – up to 8 kg.
Also, this UAV can be used as a laser targeting rangefinder. That is, it can illuminate the target with a beam. The maximum flight speed of Orlan-30 reaches about 170 km/h.
Recall, the day before, the first set of drones purchased under the Army of Drones program was delivered to Ukraine. 30 “birdies” have already gone to the front line to reinforce the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, UNIAN published a photo report on how fighters of the Army of Drones are being trained in Ukraine. Subsequently, these guys should be the “eyes” of the military on the battlefield, accurately aiming the fire of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at enemy targets.
