The passport issued by the invaders is not considered a full-fledged document and does not give any guarantees.
Russia in the temporarily occupied territories issues passports under a simplified procedure. The documents obtained by the Ukrainians do not give the owners the same rights that the Russians have.
This is reported Center for countering disinformation.
“Russia is trying to passportize the population of the Kherson region and Zaporozhye as soon as possible, however, it turns out that even on the territory of the aggressor country this “passport” is not considered a full-fledged document,” the department noted.
Passports in the occupied territory are issued according to a simplified procedure and do not give any guarantees:
- it is impossible to issue and receive social benefits;
- it is impossible to draw up and receive a pension;
- no residence permit;
- no payments are provided in case of death due to forced mobilization.
It is noted that fake documents are issued to residents of the occupied regions only to participate in voting in the so-called “referendums” with the choice of the “right” candidate.
As UNIAN previously reported, the occupiers failed to passport the population in the occupied territories of Ukraine. Despite threats and promises of payments, about 1% of the adult population received citizenship of the aggressor country.
