Application for participation in the program will be made through “Diya”.
Since October, the government has been launching the first stage of the Affordable Mortgage program, in which military personnel, employees of the security and defense sector, doctors, teachers, pedagogical workers and scientists of institutions of state and municipal forms of ownership will be able to take part.

“The entire chain of procedures is digitalized as much as possible, it allows you to automatically pull up the necessary data about the applicant, quickly interact with banks, check the information and completeness of the data. All this will save time and remove bureaucratic obstacles,” Sviridenko’s press service quotes.
It is noted that citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 70 years old, solvent, who do not have housing or own real estate less than 52.5 square meters can join the program. m (an additional 21 sq. m. for each next family member) and are not subject to sanctions.
The algorithm for participation in the program provides for filing an application through “Diya”, receiving a response from banks in “Diya” and choosing housing that is planned to be purchased on a preferential mortgage. Further, it will be necessary to conclude agreements with the bank and an agreement for the sale of an apartment.
The ministry recalled that the second stage of the Affordable Mortgage program will begin in 2023 and all Ukrainians will be able to take part in it by issuing a housing loan at 7% per annum.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Affordable Mortgage program will start working from October 1, 2022 for four categories of citizens. Military personnel, employees of the security and defense sector, doctors, teachers and pedagogical workers, scientists will be able to receive a soft loan at 3% for 20 years with an initial contribution of 20% for the purchase of housing.
