Russian troops shelled the Sumy region twice in a day, killing one person and about a hundred animals on a local farm.
About this one Telegram channel said the chairman of the Sumy regional military administration Dmitry Zhivitsky.
“During the day, the Russians opened fire twice, in total 52 “arrivals,” he said.
In particular, after 16:30 Russian troops shelled the village of Volfino in the Belopolskaya community from cannon artillery – 6 “arrivals” were recorded, and from 17:45 to 18:00 they continued shelling the village from a mortar – 46 “arrivals” were recorded.
As a result of the shelling, a local resident, a man born in 1940, was killed, and a local farm was also significantly damaged.
“Due to the shelling, about 100 heads of pigs and one horse were killed. 2 granaries, a water tower, a mill, premises of a pig farm and outbuildings were damaged. Three wheeled tractors, a ZIL car were also damaged,” the head of the regional military administration said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, bad weather raged in the Sumy region today. According to Zhivitsky, one person died because of it, eight more were injured. Four victims were hospitalized, four more people were treated on the spot.
