So far, there is no talk of compensation for the territory that was released.
Vice Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk told what kind of assistance residents of the recently liberated territories can now receive.
This was discussed on the air of the telethon FREEDOM.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, so far in Ukraine they do not pay compensation for housing destroyed by the occupiers, but it is important to record the damage.
“Now it is a process of fixing, filing an application, and then there will be a compensation process. There is no compensation yet, but you need to fix it, submit everything correctly to the registers, then wait for compensation. We are not talking about compensation for the territory that has been released. If your housing destroyed or partially destroyed, you are entitled to monthly payments, just like internally displaced persons. Please contact us, we will give advice so that at least you receive money every month,” she said.
Vereshchuk also noted that measures are being taken to provide recipients of social benefits in cash.
“Pensions are being restored, Ukrposhta went and brought payments to the first settlements it could reach. Now we are talking about PrivatBank and Oschadbank, they cannot bring cash, but they did everything so that people get their money. trips to branches that work, organized buses. This is an opportunity to get money at the checkout, there are grocery stores where a person with a card comes in, he can withdraw cash.Other payments are social, they are on the cards, but now people need to be able to get them, because there are problems with energy supply, with access for individuals to ATMs,” she added.
Recall that in the “Diya” application, you can apply for compensation for property destroyed due to Russian aggression. UNIAN previously explained what to do in order to receive compensation for destroyed housing.
Also, owners of destroyed housing will be able to get a new house in their chosen locality.
Earlier, UNIAN also reported that entrepreneurs receive compensation for the employment of IDPs. The state has already compensated UAH 122 million.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the list of institutions that will receive compensation for utilities if they provide shelter for internally displaced persons.
