“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are defeating the occupier on Ukrainian soil, but they still need our support. Now, not every Ukrainian can regularly donate to the needs of the army. Therefore, Kyivstar’s goal is to provide an opportunity to help the defenders simply by using the services of a mobile operator or buying goods in chain stores. To do this, in June we launched a tariff LOVEUA, up to 50 UAH from the cost of which our subscribers can transfer to the APU. And now we are launching a charity project in retail – Kyivstar will also transfer all income from the sale of a specially selected smartphone model and accessories to it to pickup trucks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, – comments Konstantin Doronin, head of Kyivstar mono-brand sales channel.
Recall that in July, Kyivstar, together with the Okean Elzy group and the Turn Back Alive Foundation, united to support the military of Ukraine and raise funds for new high-quality cars for them. As part of the Roads of Help project, 14,818,840 hryvnias were collected for the purchase of 15 pickup trucks for the Ukrainian army, including 10 million hryvnias transferred by the mobile operator. The new promotion in Kyivstar stores is a continuation of this initiative. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Kyivstar has already allocated more than 49 million to help the military, hospitals, the elderly and those affected by the war.
