Today, two enemy missiles hit the Pechenegsky dam in the Kharkiv region, the upper airlock was damaged.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Sinigubov at Telegram.
According to him, the enemy continues to hit the critical infrastructure of the Kharkiv region, trying to arrange a man-made disaster in the region.
“Together with specialists, we examined the Pechenegsky dam in the Chuguevsky district, on which the Russian occupiers have repeatedly launched missile strikes. Today, two missiles hit the dam. The upper gateway was damaged. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Now the specialists are eliminating the consequences of shelling,” he wrote. .
Sinegubov assured that the situation at the dam is completely under control.
“There is no threat of the dam breaking and flooding of the territories. Everything is being done to restore the damaged critical infrastructure in the shortest possible time,” the chairman of the UVA noted.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening report for September 20 reported that the invaders tried to destroy the dam of the Pechenegi reservoir in the village of Pechenegy, but to no avail. No details were given.
