Civi 2 is set to release on September 27th.
Xiaomi has published several teasers revealing the appearance of the upcoming Civi 2 smartphone. The design of the new generation will differ from what was seen in the first Civi and Civi 1S.
The most noticeable change will be the oval cutout in the screen in the spirit of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. However, no interactivity is provided here and the notch, apparently, will be static.
As for the display hole itself, two “frontal cameras” with a resolution of 32 megapixels will be located in it at once. On the sides of them, above the screen are paired LED flashes. Civi 2 is also credited with a triple main module with a 50 MP main sensor.
The new phone will also get a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor powered by new Cortex-A cores. Other highlights include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and Xiaomi’s 67W fast wired charging technology.
The premiere of the phone is scheduled for September 27th. Information about the estimated price is not available at the moment.
And already in November 2022, the company will introduce the flagship Xiaomi 13 series. It is assumed that the novelties will be one of the first phones on the market based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and they will come out of the box with MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
