As an UNIAN correspondent reports, the hryvnia exchange rate against the euro fell by 10 kopecks and amounts to 40.80 hryvnia/euro.
On average, you can sell American currency at the rate of UAH 41.20 per dollar, euro – UAH 39.50 per euro.
Yesterday, September 30, the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar was 42.15 UAH/USD, and the euro – 40.70 UAH/EUR.
Exchange rate during the war in Ukraine
On May 21, the National Bank lifted restrictions on setting the rate at which authorized institutions can sell foreign currency in cash to customers – previously, the corresponding rate should not deviate from the official rate by more than 10%.
On July 21, the National Bank of Ukraine weakened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 25% to UAH 36.57/USD.
In the draft state budget for the next year, the Cabinet of Ministers laid the average hryvnia exchange rate of 42.2 UAH / USD, and at the end of 2023 officials predict it at the level of 50 UAH / USD.
The government predicts that in 2023 the dollar exchange rate will reach 50 hryvnia, and the consumer price index will be 30.6%. According to the forecast, at the beginning of next year the dollar exchange rate will be 42 hryvnia, and at the end, the hryvnia will devalue to 50.
