Recall that martial law is currently in force in Ukraine due to the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into our territory. It involves mobilization. Literally on March 7, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine extended the validity of the relevant law.

Now, videos and messages are quite often circulating on the net about how Ukrainians are “invited” into the army by mistake or by force in the military registration and enlistment offices.

As lawyer Stanislav Polevoy recently commented, representatives of military registration and enlistment offices quite often violate the law by such actions.

He noted that measures of administrative coercion against Ukrainians can be applied only in cases where they refuse to arrive at the territorial recruitment and social support center. Then law enforcement officers have the right to detain offenders for no more than three hours.
