From March 17 to March 19, matches of the 18th round of the Ukrainian Premier League took place.
The tour kicked off on Friday, March 17, with a match between Metalist and Oleksandriya. Teams tied.
In the central match of the tour, Zorya Lugansk, which is on the third line, beat Dynamo Kiev, which occupies the fourth position.
The championship leaders won this round: Shakhtar confidently dealt with Rukh, while Dnipro-1 minimally beat Veres.
We also note the victory of “Minaj” and “Chernomorets” in this round. The Transcarpathian club beat “Kolos”, and the “sailors” took over in the confrontation with “Ingulets”.
Lviv’s matches against Kryvbas and Vorskla against Metalist 1925 ended in a draw.

The standings of the teams in the Premier League
Shakhtar Donetsk retained the first place in the UPL standings following the results of this round. The Pitmen have 42 points. Dnipro-1 remained in second position with 39 points. The third place belongs to Zorya Lugansk, which scored 37 points. Kiev “Dynamo” with 33 points remained in fourth position.
In the relegation zone are Minai (13th place, 18 points), Rukh (14th place, 17 points), Metalist (15th place, 17 points) and Lviv (16th place, 13 points).
Matches of the 19th round of the Ukrainian Premier League will take place after a pause for international matches – from April 1 to 2. Shakhtar will play against Chornomorets in the next round, Dnipro-1 will play against Metalist 1925, Zorya will face off against Rukh, and Dynamo will play against Lvov.
