On Monday, March 20, explosions are heard in the territory of the Russian-occupied Crimea.

Crimean Telegram channels report an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on Dzhankoy. On the videos published on the network, you can hear the sounds of drones, machine gun fire and explosions. Local residents write about loud explosions and shooting. It is also reported that in part of the city power supply was lost.

Russian-appointed adviser to the “head of Crimea” Oleg Kryuchkov urged not to spread rumors and announced the official statement of Sergei Aksyonov.

Russian propaganda media reported four explosions – they write that allegedly Russian air defense shot down Ukrainian drones. They also announced the destruction of the store.

Explosions in Dzhankoy

Recall that on August 16, explosions thundered at a military warehouse near the town of Dzhankoy. The Russian Ministry of Defense then announced damage to the power plant, power lines and the railway track.

At the end of 2022, it became known about the attack of drones on the Russian military base in Dzhankoy.

On March 18, explosions sounded in Sevastopol – then the occupation administration announced the exercises.

As you know, the Russian invaders are preparing for the defense of the Crimea – a defensive group has been created, equipping fortifications and a defense line. According to Ukrainian intelligence, the north of the peninsula and the southern regions of the Kherson region are being strengthened the most.
