As reported on the KGB website, the man, using automatic weapons and by detonating live grenades, offered armed resistance to the special forces group “A”. The investigative department of the KGB opened a criminal proceeding, operational-search activities are being carried out.
“In the course of carrying out special measures to suppress the activities of persons who entered the territory of the Republic of Belarus with the aim of committing a terrorist act, on March 19, 2023, a foreign citizen L was liquidated in Grodno on Kurchatov Street,” the KGB said.
