Bulgaria temporarily stopped sending parcels to Russia and Belarus
The Bulgarian Post made this decision due to the decrease in the capacity of vehicles and the accumulation of mail at the transit airport.

Bulgaria has suspended sending any parcels to Russia and Belarus.
According to the state post of Bulgaria, sending parcels to the territory of the aggressor and the aggressor’s accomplice has been suspended since March 20, 2023.
“Bulgarian Post temporarily stops accepting all types of parcels to Russia and Belarus,” the company said.
As stated in the message, the Bulgarian Post made this decision due to a decrease in the throughput of vehicles and the accumulation of mail at the transit airport.
War in Ukraine postal blockade of the aggressor
In July 2022, for the first time in history, the post of Russia and Belarus was expelled from the Association of European Operators. Suspension of membership in PostEurop means that the postal operators of Russia and Belarus have lost the opportunity to participate in the civilized development of the postal industry.
Posts of Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Australia in April 2022 submitted the relevant documents to the Universal Postal Union to stop the delivery of items to Russia and Belarus.
The postal blockade of the aggressor countries was also joined by the Latvian Post, which in March stopped postal money transfers to Russia and Belarus.
