As of February 10, 2023, the country has lost 44% of its nuclear generation and three-quarters of its thermal power plant capacity.
Despite all Russia’s attempts to leave Ukraine without electricity and communications, already on March 1, 2023, Ukraine announced that it was ready to resume electricity exports to Europe.
On March 9, the invaders once again launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. After the attack and damage to power facilities, the most difficult situation with power supply arose in the Kharkiv and Zhytomyr regions.
