No waffle iron needed: recipe for crispy waffles in a pan
Golden and crispy waffles can be made without the use of a frying pan.

To make fragrant crispy waffles, it is not necessary to have a waffle iron. This delicate dessert can be cooked in a pan. Such waffles are no different from the classic ones, except for the absence of a characteristic checkered pattern. But if you use a frying pan with a perforated bottom, then there will be a small pattern on the waffles.
Waffles in a pan
Ingredients:
- eggs – 2 pcs.;
- sugar – 150 g;
- butter – 100 g;
- milk – 100 ml;
- flour – 200 g;
- vanilla sugar – 0.5 tsp;
- a pinch of salt.
Beat eggs with sugar using a mixer at high speed. The egg mass should become light and fluffy. Transfer the butter to a small saucepan and melt over low heat, but do not bring to a boil. Remove the melted butter from the heat and let it cool slightly so that it is at room temperature.
Pour the warm melted butter into the egg mixture. Add vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Beat all ingredients with a mixer until smooth. Continuing to beat the mixture with a mixer, gradually pour in all the flour. The finished dough is smooth and thick.
To cook waffles, you need a non-stick pan, because they are cooked without oil. Pour about half a ladleful of waffle batter into the hot skillet and quickly spread over the skillet like a pancake. Fry a thin waffle for 2-3 minutes on one side, then another 1 minute on the other side.
Remove the waffle from the heat and immediately roll it into a tube with quick movements while it is still hot. Once the waffle has cooled, it will harden and begin to crumble. From the indicated amount of dough, approximately 12-14 tubes will be obtained.
