The Armed Forces of Ukraine explained why the General Staff made a mistake with the “exit” of the Russians from Nova Kakhovka
Natalya Gumenyuk noted that the Russians had a massive rotation.

The speaker of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Gumenyuk, explained the statements about the withdrawal of Russian troops from Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region, which were later refuted. She noted that the Ukrainian military also believe in the good.
“The military also believe in the good and sometimes wishful thinking. At first it was such a massive rotation, which, in principle, provoked the understanding that the troops were packing up and leaving,” a representative of our military explained on the air of the telethon.
According to her, after some Russian units left Novaya Kakhovka, others entered the settlement.
The situation in Nova Kakhovka – what is known
On March 23, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian troops were leaving Nova Kakhovka, but already at 20:03 the Ukrainian military clarified that this information was not true.
In turn, the head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalya Gumenyuk, spoke about the new “tactics” of the Russians in Nova Kakhovka. She drew attention to the fact that the Russian military is carrying out a rotation of forces in eastern Ukraine, but has not yet left a single settlement, including Novaya Kakhovka.
