National Guard Day 2023: beautiful congratulations and best pictures
On the Day of the National Guard on March 26, all Ukrainian guards receive congratulations from relatives and friends.
Every year at the end of March, all Ukrainian National Guardsmen are congratulated by their relatives, friends and colleagues. The Day of the National Guard of Ukraine is celebrated on March 26, the former Day of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The profession of the National Guard is very difficult and responsible, especially in wartime. The duties of the National Guard include:
- protection of important government facilities and special cargo;
- suppression of the activities of criminal and terrorist groups;
- participation in antiterrorist operations;
- protection of public order.
Without the National Guardsmen, our life in wartime would be much more dangerous. Therefore, on this day, it is worth congratulating all the employees of the National Guard of Ukraine and thanking them for their hard work.
Day of the National Guard of Ukraine – the history of the holiday
The National Guard of Ukraine as a separate power structure existed from 1991 to 2000. In 2014, after the start of the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the National Guard was restored as a military formation on the basis of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Recruitment to the National Guard was entirely voluntary.
National Guard Day as a holiday was established by Petro Poroshenko on March 18, 2015. The date of the holiday was chosen on March 26, which used to be the Day of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
