Russian invaders on Sunday, March 26, launched a missile airstrike on two high-rise buildings in Avdiivka.
This was announced by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak. “The Russians continue to shell Avdiivka,” the report says.
In particular, he noted, the invaders carried out a missile airstrike on two high-rise buildings. “Previously without casualties,” the head of the OPU added.
Vitaly Barabash, the head of the Avdiyevo city military administration, told Suspilny that Russian troops launched several massive strikes on the city at night, and this morning there were four air strikes on the city. According to him, one hit was recorded on the territory of the coking plant, three more rockets hit the central part of Avdiivka.
“It’s very hot. At night there were several massive attacks on Avdiivka and the coke plant. Usually there are 20-30 attacks a day and up to 10 air strikes,” Barabash added.
War in Ukraine – the situation in Avdiivka
As UNIAN reported, on March 26, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration Pavel Kirilenko noted that intensive shelling of Avdiivka from artillery and Grad multiple rocket launchers, including cluster munitions, continued at night and in the morning. The shells hit the territory of four streets and the Avdeevsky coke plant.
Recall that on March 25 in the morning, the Russian military also attacked Avdiivka with two missiles. One rocket hit the industrial zone, the second – in the central part of the city, where there are multi-storey buildings.
Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Avdiivka direction is now one of the hottest on the front. However, thanks to the actions of our military, the occupiers are “running out of steam” and are already attacking the city many times less.
