On Sunday, March 26, the match of the second round of the UEFA EURO 2024 qualification took place, in which the Ukrainian team played against England.

The game was played at Wembley Stadium in London and ended with a score in favor of the home team.

The scoring was opened in the 37th minute after a cross from the right flank by Bukayo Saka was scored by the Three Lions striker Harry Kane. In the 40th minute, the home team doubled their advantage – a beautiful goal from outside the penalty area was scored by Bukayo Saka.

In the second half, the fans did not see any goals scored, the match ended with the triumph of the home team.

Match review:

This was England’s second qualifying match for Euro 2024. In the first round, Gareth Southgate’s team beat Italy away. Thus, the British have six points scored and they are in the lead in the Group C standings.

It should be noted that on March 26 one more match will be played in this group – the Italian team will meet with Malta.

The national team of Ukraine will play its next match in the framework of the selection for the European Championship 2024 on June 16 against North Macedonia. On June 19, the Blue-Yellows will face Malta.

England will also play two matches in June, against Malta on 16 June and North Macedonia on 19 June.
