The Ukrainian won a gold medal at the stage of the European Cup in ski acrobatics in Obertauern, Austria.
This was reported in the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. “The first podium in her career and immediately “gold”! 15-year-old freestyle skier Nelli Popovich is the winner of the European Cup in ski acrobatics in Austrian Obertauern,” the message says.
It is noted that the Ukrainian with a score of 57.50 points is only 0.49 points ahead of the two representatives of China, who scored the same points.
The State Center for Olympic Training in winter sports reported that Anastasia Gasyuk took the fourth position. Among men, Maxim Kuznetsov showed the best result – he finished eighth.

Ukrainian Yevhen Marusyak won the Continental Cup stage in ski jumping.

Recall that the Ukrainian Association of Sports Journalists named freestyler Oleksandr Abramenko the best athlete of 2022.
