Ukraine will soon receive $2.5 billion grant from US – Shmyhal
Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has received almost $5 billion in support from the EU, more than $2 billion in support from the United States.

The Ukrainian government has issued a directive to receive a second US $2.5 billion grant this year through a project of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association.
This was reported on the Government portal with reference to the speech of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal. According to him, another $150 million will be provided by our other partners.
“These funds will come through a project of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as the International Development Association. This will attract the second tranche of $2 billion 660 million this year. assistance to pensioners, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities and low-income families.
It is noted that since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has received almost $5 billion in support from the EU, more than $2 billion in support from the United States.
“We have an agreement on a new program with the IMF. We received financial assistance from the UK, the World Bank, Germany, Spain, Finland, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, Iceland and Estonia. Norway extended the payment program for 50,000 Ukrainians who are in difficult living conditions and suffered from Russian aggression. Payments under the programs of the UN and the Red Cross are also continuing,” the message says.
Also, over the past 7 months, within the framework of a joint project of the Ministry of Reintegration, Ukrposhta and international organizations, one-time financial assistance has been provided to residents of de-occupied territories totaling more than 300 million hryvnias.

On February 26, it became known that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will provide Ukraine with a $400 million aid package.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against our country, US assistance to Ukraine in the field of security, economy, humanitarian and social support has reached about $50 billion.
