TU-Sofia opened the new Center for Digital Technologies

Technical University – Sofia opened a new onehas Center for Digital Technologies. One of the partners in the project is withthe software company Musala Softwhich anda buildingand computer lab Musala”.

The created IT infrastructure will support the education of students at the university, as well as the implementation of various scientific and research projects, the company specified.

“The construction of a modern computer laboratory for the Technical University – Sofia is another step in Musala Soft’s 23-year-long policy of supporting the leading centers for IT education in Bulgaria,” commented Stanislav Ovcharov, Chief Operating Officer of Musala Soft.

“Musala” Hall is part of a long-standing cooperation between the IT company and TU – Sofia, which includes support in the preparation of study programs, implementation of joint scientific projects and initiatives, internship programs, partnership in the opening of a new academic year, graduates, guest lecturers and etc.

TU – Sofia and the Faculty of Computer Systems and Technologies, for their part, are partners of the CodeIT international competitive programming competition, organized by Musala Soft.

3,000 Bulgarian and foreign students will be trained and specialized annually in the Center for Digital Technologies, built under the UNITe Center of Excellence project. The center is spread over an area of ​​over 2,500 square meters, has 14 laboratories with specialized equipment, built with the help of business, as well as a lecture hall with 140 seats, a library and offices for teachers and researchers.
