The cash exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar in bank exchange offices in Kyiv today, May 18, has strengthened by 5 kopecks – up to UAH 37.65 / USD.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, the hryvnia exchange rate for the euro has strengthened by 10 kopecks and amounts to 41.20 hryvnia/euro. You can sell American currency on average at the rate of UAH 37.25 per dollar, euro – UAH 40.50 per euro.
What happens to the course
Anna Zolotko, Director of the Department of Treasury Operations at Unex Bank, predicts that the dollar exchange rate in Ukraine will fluctuate within UAH 37.4 – 37.9 by the end of this week.
According to the forecast of analyst Oleksiy Kozyrev, the cash exchange rate of the dollar in Ukraine in the period from May 15 to May 19 in most banks will be within the buying and selling corridor from 37.10 to 38.15 UAH/USD. And in the exchange offices of financial companies, this corridor will be from 37.25 to 37.95 UAH / USD.
As stated in the financial weekly of the ICU investment group, as of May 16, the hryvnia exchange rate in systemically important banks weakened by a few kopecks to UAH 37.3-37.9/USD.
