The court allowed to forcibly take biosamples from the judge who shot down the National Guardsman

The court granted the prosecutor’s request and granted permission to forcibly take biological samples from Judge Oleksiy Tandyr, who on the night of Friday, May 26, killed Vadym Bondarenko, a member of the National Guard, in Kiev, to death, the press service of the Kiev City Prosecutor’s Office reports.
The prosecutor’s office reminds that Tandyr was detained in accordance with Art. Art. 208, 482 Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine.
The judge refused to test for alcohol and drugs, but had visual clinical signs of intoxication. Therefore, the prosecutor’s office prepared a petition to the court for the forced removal of biological samples from Tandyr for analysis, which was granted by the court.
Accident with a drunk judge – what is known
On May 26, around midnight in Kyiv, a judge driving a car drove over a soldier of the National Guard. As a result, the National Guardsman died from his injuries at the scene of an accident. As a source in law enforcement agencies told UNIAN, this is the head of the Makarovsky District Court, Aleksey Tandyr.
The media later clarified that the name of the deceased National Guardsman was Vadim Bondarenko and he was from the Cherkasy region. The guy from the beginning of the war served in military service.
The military man raised one common child and two children of his wife from a previous marriage. The wife, children and mother of the National Guard are now abroad. The father of the National Guard is now fighting in Bakhmut.
What is known about the judge is that he himself excused his colleague from a “drunk” accident – a judge of the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky District Court Dmitry Usatov.
On the fact of an accident with the participation of a judge, criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 3 of Art. 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. As part of the criminal proceedings, law enforcement officers establish the mechanism and causes of the accident. The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the TU GBR, located in the city of Kyiv.
