Crimea can be liberated from Russian occupation without ground operation – expert
To do this, it is necessary to deplete the Russian forces on the peninsula.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to de-occupy Crimea without a ground operation. In particular, it is realistic to do this with the help of only aviation and long-range missiles.
“Can Crimea be de-occupied without a ground operation? In my opinion, it can. This requires a lot of aviation. F-16s can use long-range missiles like the AGM-158. Range up to 910 km. , everything that moves towards them in terms of logistics by sea,” military expert Petr Chernik said on the air of Espresso.
According to him, in just a few weeks it is possible to destroy the entire logistics and infrastructure of the occupiers. After that, our troops will be able to calmly enter.
“And with long-range air-to-air missiles, such as the AIM-120 AMRAAM (range up to 180 km), we close the sky over Crimea. And we grind all the logistics and infrastructure in a few weeks in the presence of a large number of missiles. We reach the point where everything is being depleted. It is not equipment that is fighting, but people. When everything is depleted there, the decline of our Ground Forces is only a matter of time,” the expert summed up.
De-occupation of Crimea – what is known
According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, the liberation of Crimea is one of the tasks of the spring-summer campaign of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, is convinced that the events in Crimea during the liberation from the Russian occupiers will take place similarly to those in other occupied territories: the pro-Russian contingent will immediately leave.
