The head of the SBU, Vasily Malyuk, commented on the drone attack on the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, carried out in October 2022. He spoke about this in an interview with journalist Dmitry Komarov.

“Information was repeatedly made public to the general public that the Security Service of Ukraine was the author of that operational plan and implemented it. However, not only the Security Service worked there,” Malyuk said.

According to him, the SBU carried out this side by side with the naval forces.

“Also with our caring civilians. And this once again underlines the fact that civilians are making a fairly large contribution to our future victory,” Malyuk added.
