Suspicion announced to judge who shot down National Guardsman to death – Prosecutor General’s Office
The prosecutor’s office asks the High Council of Justice to give consent to the detention of the judge.

Aleksey Tandyr, chairman of the Makarovsky District Court of the Kyiv region, who drunkenly knocked down National Guardsman Vadim Bondarenko to death at a checkpoint, was declared suspected.
“On behalf of the Deputy Prosecutor General and the procedural leadership of the Kiev city prosecutor’s office, a suspicion was reported to the chairman of one of the district courts of the Kiev region on the fact of a fatal accident while intoxicated (part 3 of article 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the Office of the General prosecutor on the social network Facebook.
The prosecutor’s office also sent an appeal to the High Council of Justice with a request for consent to keep the judge in custody.
The judge knocked down the National Guardsman – what is known
As UNIAN reported earlier, on the night of May 26, a judge ran over a National Guard soldier in the capital. The man died at the scene of the accident from his injuries.
A law enforcement source told UNIAN that Alexey Tandyr, head of the Makarovsky District Court, was driving. According to social networks, he was very tipsy, and now he is trying to hide it. The State Bureau of Investigation forced the judge to hand over biological materials – the court made a corresponding decision.
Later it became known that the deceased had three children, and his father and brother were fighting the invaders. According to sources in the National Guard, the deceased guy’s name is Vadim Bondarenko, he comes from the Cherkasy region and has been serving in the military since the beginning of the war.
According to the Dejure Foundation think-tank, Tandyr had previously helped defend his colleague in the case of causing an accident. In particular, in 2021, he helped the judge of the Kyiv-Svyatoshinsky District Court Dmitry Usatov avoid liability under Art. 124 CUAO (causing an accident). And according to Art. 130 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (drunken driving) Usatov was dismissed by the judge of the Pechersk District Court Oleg Belotserkovets, because he closed the case on time.
