Ukrainian soldiers responded harshly to the Russians on strikes: where did the Defense Forces go

During the day, the Russian invaders inflicted, in particular, more than 40 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements in Ukraine, but our soldiers powerfully responded to them.

This is discussed in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on Facebook on Tuesday evening, May 31. “In total, during the day, the enemy launched 44 air strikes and one missile strike, made about 20 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and settlements,” the General Staff noted.

According to him, the aircraft of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in a day delivered eight strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Russian invaders.

In addition, Ukrainian rocket and artillery units hit three command posts, an enemy manpower concentration area, four artillery units in firing positions, an anti-aircraft missile system, three fuel and lubricant depots and an enemy electronic warfare station during the day.

As UNIAN reported earlier today, on May 30, the commander of the Tavria operational-strategic grouping of troops Oleksandr Tarnavsky said that in the Tauride direction during the day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed almost two companies of Russian invaders and neutralized nine units of weapons and military equipment of the enemy.

On the morning of the 30th, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the opponents had concentrated their main efforts on attempts to completely occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
