In early June, a magnetic storm will cover the Earth: what dates are dangerous and how to protect yourself
A magnetic storm of medium strength is expected in early June.

Employees of solar laboratories are constantly monitoring the state of the Sun. On days of increased solar activity, magnetic storms dangerous to health occur on Earth. They vary in strength and duration. The first such storm in June will cover the Earth at the beginning of the month.
What is a magnetic storm?
Magnetic storms are disturbances in the Earth’s magnetic field caused by solar flares. Such fluctuations can adversely affect the operation of communication systems, as well as human health. Even a slight increase in activity can affect health.
When is the next magnetic storm

One-day magnetic storm will cover the Earth on Friday 2 June. Its power will reach level 4, which makes it an average storm. The highest solar activity will be in the afternoon and evening.
The next one-day magnetic storm is expected on Saturday 10 June.
How magnetic storms affect health
The impact of magnetic storms on health is very individual for each person. Weather-sensitive people and those with chronic diseases, as well as pregnant women and the elderly, feel the effects of storms the most.
Symptoms of malaise during a magnetic storm can also be very different, but the most common are:
- nausea;
- headache;
- dizziness;
- high blood pressure;
- abdominal pain;
- elevated temperature;
- pain in muscles and joints;
- weakness;
- insomnia;
- exacerbation of chronic diseases.
Most people endure magnetic storms quite easily, experiencing only one or a couple of the symptoms listed above.
How to protect yourself from the influence of magnetic storms
To make dangerous dates pass unnoticed by you, follow the rules of a healthy lifestyle during the days of a magnetic storm:
- Eat less fatty, fried, and spicy foods, but more seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
- Give up coffee, alcohol, cigarettes, hookah, energy drinks. Drink more water, green tea and compote.
- Spend more time outdoors. It is advisable to do exercises on the street or at least just take a walk.
- While you are indoors, ventilate the room regularly.
- Try to be less nervous, do not get into conflicts.
- Take a contrast shower before bed.
If feeling unwell prevents you from doing work, then take sick leave and arrange a day of rest for yourself.
