In the regions of the Russian Federation, an “emergency message from the President of Russia” was heard on the radio, in which Vladimir Putin announced Ukraine’s invasion of several border regions and the beginning of general mobilization. “Russians, fellow citizens, brothers and sisters, today at 4 am, Ukrainian troops, armed by the NATO bloc with the consent and support of Washington, invaded the territory of the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions. Our border guards and armed forces gave a worthy rebuff, surpassing the force of the aggressor. On martial law has been declared on the territories of the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions. Also today I will sign a decree on general mobilization, since in order to defeat a dangerous and insidious enemy, we will need to unite all the forces of the Russian Federation. I ask the residents of the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions to evacuate deep into the territory of Russia, observing order and calm, strictly follow the orders of local military administrations, leave their places of residence in an organized manner for the sake of life, enable Russian soldiers to defend the land from Ukrainian Nazis. The Kremlin said that the radio stations were hacked, but now control is restored. Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov called Putin’s appeal a fake, writes the TASS propaganda agency.
“(Appeal) was definitely not. Indeed, in some regions there was a hack. In particular, I know that there was a hack on the Mir radio and in some networks. Now all this has already been eliminated, taken under control. Services are now sorting it out”, — said the representative of the Kremlin.
The Belgorod authorities stated that there was no evacuation and mobilization, and no one invaded the region.
“Information about the invasion of Ukrainian troops in the Belgorod region, the introduction of martial law, general mobilization and evacuation of the region deep into Russia is fake,” the operational headquarters of the region said in a statement.
The authorities of the Voronezh region also stated that the situation in the region is under the control of the administration and law enforcement agencies.
