Heavy fighting continues in four directions of the Eastern Front – 43 clashes took place over the past day. The Ukrainian military repulsed Russian attacks in several directions.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning report on June 9, the Russian invaders continue to concentrate their main efforts on the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions, heavy fighting continues there.
So, over the past day, 43 combat clashes took place in these sectors of the front.
In particular, over the past 24 hours, in the Limansky direction, the Russians unsuccessfully tried to advance in the Veseloye region of the Donetsk region, in the Bakhmutsky direction – in the direction of the settlements of Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, Ivanovskoye, Stupochki, Belaya Gora, and on Avdeevsky – near Severny and Opytny.
In addition, in the Maryinsky direction, Ukrainian defenders and defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of the city of Maryinka – the Russian invaders suffered losses.
According to the General Staff, the operational situation in the Volyn and Polesye directions is still without significant changes, and in the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive operations.
At the same time, in the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the invaders are reinforcing the composition of the group to cover the border at the expense of territorial troops.

As UNIAN reported earlier, according to the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian troops are actively operating in the Bakhmut direction, and fighting continues. In some places in this direction, the Russians are trying to go on the offensive, but to no avail.
At the same time, on the southern front, fighting continues for Velikaya Novoselka in the Novopalovsky direction, and in the Zaporozhye direction in the Orekhov region, the enemy is on active defense.
