Zelensky announces new drone operations

President Volodymyr Zelensky assured that there would be more good news with the use of Ukrainian drones in the fight against Russian occupiers.
According to him, officials today presented the results of the first year of the army of drones. “No longer a project, but a real Ukrainian army of drones. There was a presentation of various types of Ukrainian drones that are used for defense, as well as a meeting with manufacturers, designers, donors. Journalists and representatives of civil society had the opportunity to see what potential was achieved in the first year of the army of drones and how the army will increase,” the head of state said in a video message

Army of drones: what is known
The goal of the project is to acquire reconnaissance drones that can cover the entire front line. In July last year, fundraising and UAVs for this initiative began.
We are talking about unmanned aerial vehicles that can move up to one day, almost imperceptibly overcoming a distance of 160 kilometers. Drones are equipped with cameras with a thermal imager, position sensors and software.
