Ukrainians can get a driver’s license in three more European countries

Starting today, November 20, the international driver’s license delivery service has become available to Ukrainians in the Czech Republic, Germany and Italy. Previously, this service was available only in Poland.
According to the press service of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in order to use the service, you must go to the driver’s electronic account, indicate the reason for exchanging the ID, select international delivery and pay for the service. After processing the application, the document will be sent by Ukrposhta.
It is noted that the total cost of the service will be approximately 1,300 hryvnia.
“This option is relevant for those persons who want to exchange their ID received for the first time for 2 years, have lost or damaged the document, or have changed personal data,” the message says.

As UNIAN reported, from October 2023, Ukrainians can order a driver’s license exchange online with delivery outside the country. This service has become available to persons living in Poland. International delivery time is approximately 15 days. The estimated cost of a driver’s license is 311 UAH for the form and administrative services. Logistics costs by postal carrier abroad will be 960 UAH.
In November, the state application “Diya” improved the service for replacing a driver’s license. Thus, Ukrainians can order delivery of a driver’s license by courier or to the Ukrposhta branch in Dii. The service is available for both novice drivers and car owners who want to change their plastic license.
